A variety of Barrington performers will take the stage tomorrow night, Friday, April 12th, for a special event at Barrington High School’s Auditorium called “Youth Arts Alive”. The free performance is all about highlighting the talent of our local youth while celebrating their healthy choice to remain alcohol and drug free.
This will be the second “Youth Arts Alive” performance organized by the Barrington Community Drug Prevention Coalition (BACDP), a community resource for parents and teens.
Performers from the following groups will take the stage during the event:
Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble
The FREE event starts at 7 p.m. at the Barrington High School Auditorium.
According to the BADCP, “Research shows that youth who participate in community activities which build character, commitment and self esteem, are far less likely to partake in underage drinking or use illegal drugs.” For more information, visit their website at BADPC.org.
