The 39th annual Art in the Barn fall fine arts show opens in Barrington at 10 a.m. today, Saturday, September 28th! Explore the work of over 180 juried artists during the two day event on the picturesque Advocate Good Shepherd hospital grounds.

There will be painters, jewelry-makers, sculptors, photographers, ceramics artists, woodworkers and others offering their pieces for sale. All of the art will be on display in barns that were once used as food testing sites when the property was owned by Quaker Oats.

In addition to the art, there are fun activities planned for the entire family including children’s arts & crafts, pony rides, continuous entertainment plus delicious food concessions in the flavor of the fall season.

Over the years, Art in the Barn has raised millions of dollars to help fund major improvements to the hospital. The cost of admission is $5.00 and there is no charge for children 12 and under. The show runs from 10 am to 5 pm on both days on the hospital grounds at 450 W. Highway 22 in Barrington.
