The Barrington Broncos varsity football team is heading into Friday’s game at Wheeling High School on a winning streak after a perfect record so far this season!  The start time for the varsity game at Wheeling has been moved to 6:00 p.m. and the JV game has been canceled due to threat of evening storms.

The theme for tonight is NEON NIGHT so it’ll be a colorful follow-up to the “Stars and Stripes” theme from last Friday’s game when the Broncos defeated the Elk Grove Grenadiers 42-18. Tommy Derken says he’s never seen a home crowd as huge as the one at last week’s game. He’s sharing video highlights plus player and fan reaction with our Meatheads Game of the Week.

Be sure to stop by Meatheads to support the Fillies cheer and Broncos football by purchasing a burger and joining in on the Burger Battle.  The football team currently has the lead in Meatheads Burger Battle! 84 of their “Bronco Legacy” burgers have sold this month compared to only 28 of BHS Cheer’s “High Flyer” burgers sold.  So it’s a great day to show Barrington Cheer some Burger Battle love by fueling up at Meatheads (500 N. Hough Street) before game 4 tonight at Wheeling High School!  Meatheads will donate 10% of all Burger Battle sales this month to support the participating athletic programs at BHS.
