It’s Hatch season at Heinen’s and we’re excited they’re welcoming back the crème de la crème of green peppers! Hatch chiles are available in store now, but only for a limited time. To celebrate, all are welcome to join Heinen’s annual Hatch Chile Roast in Barrington from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 24th. They’ll be roasting hatch chiles and offering samples of dishes prepared with these popular peppers!
Known for causing a taste bud frenzy, the arrival of these favored New Mexico peppers is something Heinen’s looks forward to at the end of each summer. From mild to hot, these little green beauties are delicious roasted or make a great addition to salsas, salads, quiches and even s’mores!
