This has been a year of “firsts” for McGonigal’s Pub in Barrington. As the pub approaches it’s first anniversary in March, they’re celebrating another “first” this weekend. It’s their inaugural Super Bowl Sunday party this Sunday, Febraury 6th, and they have a great time planned for all of their guests.

There are two McGonigal’s party options for Super Bowl fans on Sunday…

You can watch the game on many large screen TVs for free and enjoy regular bar and restaurant service on the main floor. OR, for $40, they’re offering a Super Bowl XLV party package on the second level from 5PM until the end of the game.

Here are the party highlights:

  • Tailgate BuffetBurgers, Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Sandwiches, Chili, Brats & Sauerkraut, Baked Beans, and other good stuff.
  • Drink Extravaganza Open BarWide selection of bottles and premium draft beers*, well cocktails, house wines & soft drinks

    Cash bar available for everything else

    Shots & Martinis are not included but can be purchased

  • Game ViewingWe have over a dozen HDTVs between two levels.

    Great atmosphere and every seat is a good seat!

There will also be raffle prizes and giveaways so it’ll be a great way to watch the big game.  The upstairs will be open at 4:00 PM for anyone who wants to arrive early, but the Party Package, open bar and buffet start at 5:00 PM.  All party specials are over at the end of the game.  Cash bar and regular menu service will be availalble before and after the game and you must be 21 or older to attend.

    • TTP…I agree with the green and gold thing. Plus, I’m spending Super Bowl Sunday sequestered in a secret location working on the big announcement which we’ll be making at 365Barrington this week. (You know what it is) I fled my home this morning when I realized I must isolate to accomplish what needs to be done. I’ll email this afternoon with details.
