Blizzard, rain and overall winter blahs have you feeling down and dull? A Barrington business has a plan that’s bringing sexy back. The Shepherd Spa is hosting a “Girls Night Out” this upcoming Thursday to help you renew your gorgeous glow while sipping wines by the pool.
The event will be hosted at the Good Shepherd Health & Fitness Center on Thursday, February 24th and there’s still space available. So grab a few gal pals and plan your night of rest and relaxation.
The “Caribbean Blue Escape” event will last from 6:30 to 9:30PM and will include a special wine tasting event and hors d’oeuvres served on the pool deck. You can sip wine while you soak in the swirling waters of the oversized whirlpool while listening to the music of the islands. Shepherd Spa professionals will be offering several poolside mini-spa services, including Massages, Facial Introduction, Hand Treatments and Sun-Kissed Facial Spray Tanning by Fantasy Tan. Good Shepherd’s very own Dr. Gibson will be there to discuss the benefits of acupuncture and the services he can provide. PLUS, local artisans from the Barrington Cultural Arts Center will also be there selling jewelry, hats and other unique personal items.
The cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door and the event is open for both members and non-members of the club, but an RSVP is required. They suggest that you bring a robe & rubber sandals for easy transition from pool to spa. After all this cold and snow, you deserve a little pampering.
