Just after his arrival and the community tree lighting, Santa headed over to the former Barrington train depot structure that the Village transports to the site every year.  That’s where Santa visits with children who line up to see him well before his arrival.

365Barrington reporter James Owen was there to talk with visitors who gathered for the excitement of Santa’s arrival and shares the story in his latest video for 365BarringtonTV.

In addition to Santa’s arrival downtown, merchants from locations all over the Village hosted separate holiday festivals throughout the day, rolling out the red carpet for this year’s holiday shoppers. Photographer Gus Goetze captured the excitement of Santa’s return to share a lasting gallery of this year’s festivities.
