It was a close race, but Barrington Animal Hospital’s month-long Pamper Your Pooch photo contest has come to a close with a solo top dog as the winner! Out of dozens of entries, one dog rose to the top, receiving nearly 23% of the 400+ votes cast. So, without further delay, we’d like to introduce you to the lucky pup whose name is … (drumroll, please) … Abel Henry!
Dr. Barbara Stapleton of Barrington Animal Hospital says they loved reading about each and every dog entered and shared words of praise for the winner. “Congratulations to Abel Henry! His story was certainly heartfelt and he is a deserving winner. Everyone at Barrington Animal Hospital wishes him an exciting, fun day on the town!”
365 Barrington reader, Jennifer Vaughn entered Abel Henry into our contest saying he so deserved a day of pampering because he has endured so much in his 20 months of life. She fostered Abel’s mom and later adopted Abel after he had multiple surgeries and treatments for various health issues. “After all Abel has been through, he so deserves a day of pampering,” Jennifer says. “He is truly a little love bug who has fought so hard to live. He is Abel, our little miracle.”
Here are the four prizes Abel Henry wins, courtesy of Barrington Animal Hospital, for receiving the most votes in our contest…
