The Barrington Area Library’s “Second Fridays” series returns for a first performance of the new year featuring the Chicago Diamond Trio. This popular trio brings jazz stylings to a selection of your favorite soulful Motown classics.

The performance is coming up in the library’s Meeting Room from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. on Friday, January 10th. Click here to register.

The award winning trio’s influences include Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Carlos Antonio Jobim, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Amhad Jamal, Red Garland, George Gershwin, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery, Keith Jarrett, Dave Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, John Scofield, Stan Getz, MMW, The Meters, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and more!
