Nothing beats an icy cold beer on a gorgeous sunny day. Mix in a little German food at a fun Oktoberfest celebration in our neck of the woods and you’ve got a great plan for a Saturday night!

Barrington’s neighbor, Lake Zurich, is home to one of the best German restaurants around and they’re hosting their annual Oktoberfest celebration tonight.

They’ll be serving up a special selection from their menu tonight, including unlimited bratwurst and Thuringer, chicken schnitzel, spaetzle, homemade potato salad, sauerkraut red cabbage and warm apple strudel. Wash it all down with an frothy German beer from the pub and you’ll be shouting Dankeschön all the way home.

The Oktoberfest menu is $29.95 per person and the price incudes dinner and entertainment. The fun begins at 6:30 with dinner at 7:30 and dancing at 8:30PM.
