New Film Just Released by Barrington High School Film Department

The movie was filmed in downtown Barrington and depicts a student who travels back in time. The mission?  To change his teacher’s “Bah Humbug” Halloween attitude.  I give it two thumbs up!

The new film, called Back to the Future BHS was just released this afternoon by 238 Studios.  That’s Barrington High School’s film department.  The school’s TV production teacher, Jeff Doles, even makes a cameo appearance in this one, delivering a power-packed, two-second performance as Darth Vader ;).  BHS Senior Gabe Gilden was the Visual Effects Supervisor for this latest film.  He also produced “Magic” by BHS.  That was the school’s Homecoming music video which recently placed 2nd in the Senior Film Category at the Savannah Film Festival.

Gabe will receive a $2,000 artistic scholarship, airfare, hotel accommodations and two gold passes for the the 2010 Savannah Film Festival, Nov. 5–7.  He’ll also receive a copy of Apple’s Final Cut Pro video editing software. Congratulations and look forward to your next new release!
