The merchants in downtown Barrington are kicking off the holiday shopping season with their annual Holiday Wine Walk from 2 to 6 p.m. this Saturday, November 22nd. Over twenty shops and restaurants are taking part in this year’s event and they’re hopeful you’ll pop in and pay them a visit!

The Holiday Wine Walk will offer free wine tastings and other tasty treats at each of the merchant stops. In addition, there will be wine tastings at The Annex, Vin Chicago, Vintage Wine & Spirits and Grassroots during the wine walk. Customers can begin the Holiday Wine Walk at any participating business by picking up a location map for the tastings.

The Holiday Wine Walk is a wonderful opportunity for shoppers and visitors to experience the stores and restaurants in downtown Barrington, the Shops on Lageschulte Street, Barrington Commons and on North Cook Street. These merchants look forward to highlighting their merchandise, unique gifts and specialty items on this fun day in the Village.

Plan to spend the day walking around town, tasting good wine, socializing with friends, finding that unique one of a kind gift, and then settling in for a wonderful dinner on one of the fine dining establishments in Barrington.
