The numbers are in and Barrington High School’s football players have been named the champions of Meatheads Burger Battle! Since the contest kicked off last month, Meatheads sold 263 of the football players’ Bronco Burgers compared to 100 of the cheerleaders’ Billy Burgers sold in the same time period. But the best news is that they’re extending the contest, increasing the sum they’ll ultimately donate back to the program.

Meatheads pledged to donate 10% of the sales of each contest burger back to support BHS athletics. They just announced that they will continue to feature the football players’ Bronco Burger on their menu through the end of football season, adding those sales to the total used to calculate their donation back to the program!
In case you haven’t tried a Bronco Burger yet, here are the ingredients: 1/3 lb Certified Angus Beef, American cheese, bacon, cajun fries, ketchup, lettuce and grilled onion – TACKLE THAT and you won’t go home hungry!
The football players may have sold the most burgers, but the cheerleaders’ Billy Burger was particularly popular with readers at 365Barrington.com, receiving 56% of the votes cast in the Burger Battle poll we hosted just for fun.
So everyone’s a winner in Meatheads’ Burger Battle – in more ways than one!

Be sure to continue to support BHS football by purchasing the Bronco Burger at Meatheads throughout the rest of the season.
