Of everything we covered and shared on social media in 2020, can you guess which story received the biggest reaction from our Instagram followers? It was something BIG that happened on June 6th, 2020 when nearly a thousand people gathered at Citizen’s Park to support Barrington’s Black Lives Matter Rally. A group of Barrington teen leaders organized this rally less than two weeks after after the death of George Floyd. Their goal was to listen to the black voices of Barrington. To pause, to reflect and to consider how our community can be part of the solution to injustices still simmering in our country today.
