I’m trying to be selective as I make my new years resolutions for 2011. With two young kids at home, I have to be realistic about how much time there is to tackle my “Master” to-do list. Instead, I’m choosing fewer goals that are the most important, starting with finding time to read more to myself and to my kids. For me, I just picked up a book recommended by a friend called The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barberry. And I’m turning to the Barrington Area librarians to recommend some new books for my kids.
The youth services librarians have a wealth of knowledge about the best and latest children’s books. They offer a variety of children’s storytime sessions and they always choose great books to read.
