Business on the move
SOLISQ, a ladies hat and accessories store recently relocated from Ice House Mall to a downtown storefront on Station Street. Coincidentally, the owners of Tivoli Garden Antiques closed their shop downtown Barrington to open Paris Market Antiques in Ice House Mall. Barrington Suburban Life contributor Stephanie Kohl speaks with representatives of both businesses to learn what shoppers can expect from the new digs.

Five-year Barrington 220 educator Tom Root finds time to teach art, coach cross country and track teams, and even enjoy personal hobbies such as photography and marathon running. Hundreds of participants came out to Citizens Park for the fourth annual Smart Farm Frozen Zucchini Snowshoe Race while ski professionals from all over the globe appeared in Fox River Grove to get major air at the Norge Ski Jump.
