On this day, March 12 in 1994, Swedish group Ace Of Base started a six week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with techno-reggae pop ballad, ‘The Sign’, a No.2 hit in the UK. On this day back in 1994, Ace of Base techno-reggae pop ballad, “The Sign” topped the Billboard Hot 100 List making Ace of Base the first Swedish band to to simultaneously score a number one single & album on the Billboard charts. It also won the 1995 Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. The song is about a breakup but I love its message about looking for people, paths and signs that point toward “the light where you belong”.

In moving to the bridge phase our capacity has increased from 50% to 60%. As such we will be increasing the number of guests we can see each week. Those that know me personally, would probably attest that I am more pragmatic in nature rather than the poetic type.
However, when I walked through their main entrance, I thought I entered the gardening heaven as my heart was instantly filled with pure joy and child-like wonder.
I must admit, I had driven by it so many times over the years. However, I finally made the time to visit the Barn the other day as it was recommended by so many of my gardening enthusiast friends.
Since our family uses a lot of fresh herbs in our cooking and I also like to infuse some of the oils with my own herbs for Rodina Botanicals, my mission was to pick up some herbs. 🌿🌿🌿
This is my flatbed cart when I started. 😉
I will definitely be back with the family as this local garden and nursery center is my version of a candy store for some or a shoe store for others.
If you are looking to support a local family-run shop that has been around since the '70s with very knowledgeable and friendly staff, the Barn Nursery is a great place to get ready for your gardening season. 💚
After my visit I had to chuckle when I looked at my Mood Board for this Spring as it is peppered with greens, gardening and herbs.
We all find different ways to get Zen, especially during these challenging times. Creating mood and vision boards is one of my favorite ways.
