Ladies, you know that collection of “gently used” bras taking up space in your dresser? They’re those bras you’re holding onto just in case a.) you miraculously return to your 16-year-old cup size, b.) the “Bullet Bra” comes back into fashion or c.) you run out of fabric to make your next quilt? Well here’s your chance to bestow your brassieres on a new pair of bumpers and, at the same time, lighten your load!
A nationwide bra-donation campaign is underway now at Soma Intimates lingerie boutiques, including our closest store at Deer Park Town Center.
They’re collecting new or gently worn bras trough Valentine’s Day, February 14th, to support women in need because, as Soma President, Laurie Van Brunt says, “Bras are the most needed and least donated item of clothing for women.”
This is Soma’s 6th bi-annual “Giving is Beautiful” bra donation campaign.
To date, the company has collected 368,000 donated bras, and counting!
Bras collected during this campaign will benefit violence shelters in our community that are part of the larger network of shelters working with NNEDV – the National Network to End Domestic Violence.
To donate, drop off your bras at a Soma Intimates boutique like the one at Deer Park Town Center, near Avalon Salon.
They also have a semi-annual sale underway, with an extra 30% off already reduced prices on bras. CLICK HERE to read more about the many people helped through this campaign.

I love Soma intimates not only for their amazing comfy bras but for their huge and kind heart in donating their products to women who are victims of domestic violence, now that’s really a plus for me.
