279. EXERCISE MORE -2011 New Year’s Resolution #3
I’m one of those people who feels like I have to get back in shape before I go back to the gym. Kind of like cleaning the house before the cleaning lady comes. But I’ve decided that’s just not going to cut it anymore. I need to crawl out from behind this computer, get out of the office and get my exercise routine back on track. And this is the perfect time to do it! The Barrington Park District is hosting a big open house this Saturday for the 1-year anniversary of the new Fitness & Recreation Center.
The theme of the open house is “Get Fit & Have Fun in 2011”. From 10AM until 1PM on this Saturday, January 8th, you’ll be able to try out their exercise equipment and classes, meet their instructors and enjoy discounts on selected classes and 1-year Fitness Center Memberships. Plus, they’ll be giving away a long list of prizes, including:…

166. Shape Up with Sherry Hana
When it comes to exercise, one of my biggest challenges is staying motivated. I recently found a fitness expert in Lake Barrington who offers in-home personal training and specializes in helping busy women and moms get their exercise routines back on track. Her name is Sherry Hana, and this week, she’s hosting an evening of fun, healthy food, fitness tips and FREE MASSAGES at her own home.
I recently caught up with Sherry during a fitness session at the home of Marianne Swallie, of one of her clients in Cary. The cool thing is that you don’t need a finished basement or fancy fitness equipment, because Sherry will have all of the tools and expertise you need with her when she knocks on your front door.…
